Decided to restore my hobby of capturing variety of wild living birds. This season starts with a Common Tree treecreeper, tasting some bugs. Captured in Garazhdzha forest, ecological hiking walk.

Here is a set of birds I have captured this winter. Di decide to post them at once for a potential observer to enjoy. Most of them were taken during snowfalls of Januarry.

Adore to feed those little fellows during winter season. Birds are quite brave and do not hesitate to take their favourite treats from hands pointed at them. I have had a session of feeding those fellows and tits during this winter. Emotions happening when a wild bird sits down to your fingers are indescribable. 

The middle spotted woodpecker is a European woodpecker belonging to the genus Leiopicus. The middle spotted woodpecker is 20–22 cm long and has plumage similar to the great spotted woodpecker. Wikipedia 

This was made during walking with a kid on a cold February day. Rooks were walking in the pile of leaves searching for something. This one suddenly found a nut. The happiness and excitement is seen upon his beak. It tried to leave all the others without a fight but it couldn't. All the nearby rooks were trying to get the nut with fight in result. However the treasure seeker escaped and were eating it happily on a nearby tree. 

The brambling is a small passerine bird in the finch family Fringillidae. The common English name is probably derived from Common West Germanic *brâma, meaning bramble or a thorny bush. Wikipedia

Some new shots I have made this winter. They are typical, however have a special value to me. This one made during first real snowfall of this winter in a nearby forest at Harazhdzha: Canon 6D, Canon EF 28-105 USM 3.5-5.6 at 28mm, 1/250, ISO100, f5.0  This one is a hungry squirrel in a nearby park. Canon 6D, Canon EF 100-400L ƒ4.5-5.6 IS USM, at 400mm, ISO800, 1/400, ƒ/6.3  Those two are made during a recent skiing ride. The second day weather got turn to bad. (Was raining) We took a walk with seeing nearby river Prut. It has those kinds of waterfall like places at Yaremcha. Its a start of winter. Birds lack of natural food. So I have decided to help people that feed them. Those tits used to eat from hands. (It seems). I was completely amazed by nuthatches.
