Happy to see this bird. Along with penduline tits those fellows are a messengers of spring in our area. They are quite rare whatsoever. The common blackbird is a species of true thrush. It was an early morning. My dog was demanding something by producing noises. In result I have became completely sleepless. So I took my dog for a walk at 5:00 AM and found a bunch of those birds producing noises on a nearby hornbeam tree. I grab a camera and here what is it came out with. The sun have just started to come up. So it was quite dark unfortunately. This is why iso is so high. Archives of 2014. Fieldfare during early morning. It was raining that early morning. And about 8 AM all birds came to the grass field in search for food. I have managed to have only cheap 300mm lens those days. So most of them run away. This fieldfare however was to busy finding food for its youngers.
